Hackerii sunt gata sa atace si sa dezmembreze Facebook in 5 noiembrie. Grupul Anonymous a atacat si site-urile de plati online Visa si PayPal, cand acestea au vrut sa blocheze transferurile de bani catre site-ul WikiLeaks.

Reteaua de socalizare Facebook este invinuita ca vinde informatii agentiilor guvernamentale, pe care le ajuta sa spioneze oameni din toata lumea.

Facebook a angajat unul dintre cei mai buni hackeri, pe George Hotz (GeoHot), pentru a depista bug -urile din sistem.

Consultantii de securitate intrebati de PCMag precizeaza ca orice site poate fi distrus daca exista destul de multi oameni care doresc acest lucru. In realitate, insa, Anonymous a mai incercat sa dea Facebook jos, dar nu a reusit.

Cea mai folosita metoda de atac a hackerilor este DDoS, care vine de la Distributed Denial of Service. Hackerii "planteaza" virusi sau viermi in mii de calculatoare, iar acestea executa un program de atac, prin comenzi de la distanta.
